Dr Smith invited to speak at Parkinson’s UK events

Dr Stephen Smith will be a speaker at the sell-out Parkinson’s UK 2017 Research Support Network Conference in Birmingham in October.

The conference provides people affected by Parkinson’s the ideal opportunity to learn more about the work supported by Parkinson’s UK – the UK support and research charity.

Stephen, ClearSky’s founder and director, will discuss the company’s latest research into managing and diagnosing the progressive neurological condition. The core technology behind ClearSky’s portfolio of non-invasive devices is based on unique biologically-inspired computer algorithms.

The free event will take place at The Burlington Hotel in Birmingham. Tickets were available on a first come first served basis and have now sold out. But you can watch a live stream from the conference online. Find out more at the event’s website page.

Dr Smith was also recently invited to speak at a Parkinson’s UK meeting – on 12 September – at the charity’s Harrogate branch.

Parkinson’s UK is the largest charity funder of Parkinson’s research in Europe. Since 1969, it has invested more than £80million into research.
